It really all depends on what agreements exist between the gf and the bf.
Partners should make agreements early on in the relationship as to what level of flirting with others is ok, and then stick to those agreements.
My partners and I are polyamorous, so if one of my bfs is flirting with someone else, then my duty is to smile and be supportive.
(Unless I think the person is bad news, in which case my duty is to pull my bf aside later and warn them that so-and-so is a drama magnet, or whatever the case may be).
